D101: Using Data-Driven Personas to Guide CMS Selection
10:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.This session provides a case study of the NLM’s use of data-driven personas to inform its selection of a new content management system (CMS). The presentation describes what personas are and are not. It discusses the different types of personas that can be created, how they are created, and why. Widzer presents the fictional, evidence-based characters that were developed by NLM and explains how they help library staff better understand the core content management system’s users.
