John Mack Freeman

Head of Public Services Librarian
Georgia Institute of Technology

John Mack Freeman is a librarian currently living in the north Atlanta suburbs. In his day job, he manages a team of 18 people to offer above and beyond library services to over 40,000 Georgia Institute of Technology community members 24/7. He is deeply invested in creating community partnerships, safeguarding user privacy, and developing the next generation of library leaders. In addition to his day job, he is active in the Library Freedom Project and the Georgia Library Association. When not working on library stuff, he enjoys storytelling, hiking, catastrophically messy baking, and exploring new parts of the Atlanta metro area. You can find out more at www.johnmackfreeman.com.
