Picture of Richard HuffineRichard Huffine is the Assistant Director for Enterprise Information and Records Management for the FDIC. Prior to his current position, he was the FDIC’s Chief of Library and Public Information and a librarian for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Richard has also served as the Senior Director for the Federal Government Market for ProQuest, a Clarivate Company. Prior to joining ProQuest, Richard had a 15-year career in the U.S. Federal Government including time at the U.S. Geological Survey, Environmental Protection Agency, and the General Services Administration. Richard has coordinated efforts across several large organizations to provide library and information services to research organizations. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University and the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and has served in leadership positions in both the Special Libraries Association and American Library Association. He received his certification in knowledge Management from the Knowledge Management Institute in 2021.
