Doyin Adenuga has an MLIS degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and has been a librarian for seven years after changing career from computer/systems support. After spending over four years in an academic publishing industry, he got interested in library profession, particularly in digital libraries. In 2017, he was recognized by the South Central Regional Library Council (SCLRC) for his work improving the Willard J. Houghton Library website and has been an advisory committee member on information technology & services for SCRLC since 2017. He was a fellow awardee for the 2019 Digital Library Federation Forum. His research interest centers around the benefits of open source systems for digital assets collection and management.
