Rachel S. Evans first joined the staff at the University of Georgia as a web developer in the I.T. Services department in 2012. Her prior experience includes librarian work in multiple public libraries in the state of Georgia and a small liberal arts academic library. She recieved my MLIS from Florida State University in 2012 and holds BFA's in Art & Design and Music from LaGrange College. She currently serves as the Metadata Services and Special Collections librarian at the University of Georgia's Alexander Campbell King Law Library, ensuring the discoverability of library resources and maintaining library information platforms, including the online catalog. She also oversees the management of the law library's archives and other special collections, including the law school's art collection and digitization projects for expanding accessibility to historical print and audio-visual materials in the school’s institutional repository.
