Rachel Trent is the Digital Collections and Automation Coordinator for the Geography and Map Division at the Library of Congress. She has previously served as Digital Services Manager at George Washington University Libraries’ Special Collections Research Center, Digital Collections Manager at the State Library of North Carolina, and Digital Archivist at the North Carolina State Archives. She has a MS in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MA in Public History from North Carolina State University. She is interested in critical and technical approaches to computational collections management and use.
