Sam Passey is the Director of Library and Museum services for Uintah County Utah. He is the co-founder of the Uintah Basin Libraries Consortium. He is a past member of the board of directors for Utah State Library Division, Utah Humanities Council, and serves as a member of the Utah State Library Board. He has recently led the construction of a new library and worked to integrate the Uintah County Heritage Museum into the library department. He is interested in crowdsourcing, digitization of historical records, and mentoring fellow librarians.
