Barbie promotes innovative use and management of data, information, and knowledge to enhance clients' profitability and growth. She is a frequent speaker at library, information, and business conferences globally, and is also a prolific author. Her recent publications include an AI Corner column in Computers in Libraries magazine and a series of articles for The Information Advisor's Guide to Internet Research newsletter. Additionally, she teaches Knowledge Management for Library Juice Academy.
