Barbie E. Keiser is an information resources management (IRM) consultant located in the Washington, DC, area, and operating globally. She has more than 35 years experience as a consultant for on-going concerns and start-up corporations, publishers and other information providers (including database producers and vendors), government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations around the world. Barbie teaches competitive intelligence and knowledge management at the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Communication and Information Science. In 2024, Barbie will be writing about how the database vendors and platforms purchased by libraries use artificial intelligence.
