Dan Messer is the Web Content Manager for the Maricopa County Library District, located in Phoenix, AZ, USA. He maintains a broad background in technology including web development and design, operating systems, mobile operating systems, CMS and blogging platforms, integrated library systems, and digital media production. Beyond the web, he’s a staff and public instructor who teaches classes on library technology, eReaders and digital devices, and online services. He's worked in libraries for over 20 years.
Outside the library walls, he's the host of Cyberpunk Librarian, a podcast about using free or inexpensive tech to do amazing things at the library. In his free time he's a writer, musician, and artist.
