Evelyn K Schwartz
Evelyn is assistant high school librarian at Georgetown Day School, where she’s been since 2010. The highlights of her librarian-ish duties include reading gargantuan quantities of YA Lit, figuring out exactly how BIG is Big Data, (trying!) to keep up with the latest Twitter-nuggets from #TLChat, and of course, managing the constant demands of the school printers. In addition to her librarian duties, she has taught 9th grade World History, is now teaching Seminar (a non-academic class on diversity ocial justice) and is faculty advisor to two student groups. She graduated from the University of Maryland with her MLS and an MA in History. Previously, Evelyn was working in various departments in college libraries, from archives to book conservation.
