John Burns joined TLC in October 2000 as a sales development specialist and was rapidly promoted to automation consultant. He successfully developed underperforming markets early in his career and later was instrumental in validating business concepts leading to the recent successes of TLC’s carl.x and library.solution for schools integrated library systems. John has a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from West Virginia University, where he minored in communications.
