John Liebhardt

I am the Lead Contract Librarian at the NASA Langley Technical Library, where I am responsible for outreach, marketing and user training. I have also been a Systems Librarian at a mid-sized Academic Library. Before that, I spent eight years overseas as a foreign Correspondent (in West Africa and Fiji), writing mainly for the web and covering bloggers for Global Voices Online. I have conducted interviews with anyone from high ranking government representatives, harassed journalists and children selling wares on the streets. I earned my MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and my MS in Journalism and Communication from the University of Oregon.
