Margie Hartough

Margie Hartough is currently the Head of Teen Services at Half Hollow Hills Community Library in Dix Hills. She has been partnering with local and national agencies to provide community service opportunities to the teens at Half Hollow Hills School District for over 12 years. She is a strong advocate for how public libraries can empower teens and provide the opportunities for them to engage with organizations that work toward a better world. She has been a presenter of public library resources at local and regional conferences and presently serves as the Chairperson on the Library Board at the Northport East –Northport Public Library.
