Rebecca Stavick

Before assuming the role of Executive Director of Do Space in 2015, Rebecca Stavick earned a Master's of Library and Information Science degree at San Jose State University, and worked for nearly five years in the Omaha Public Library system. At OPL, she worked in staff and leadership development, and acted as the library liaison for the technology and startup communities in Omaha. In 2012, Stavick co-founded Open Nebraska, a local organization focused on civic application development, open data advocacy, and technology education. She served as the Code for America captain for Omaha and served as the local community representative for the Digital Public Library of America for two years.
