Roxanne Lafleur

Roxanne Lafleur has been managing image collections at the Arts and Science Library at the University of Ottawa (Canada) for 30 years. Since 2002, she has added many roles to her profile which have contributed to her ongoing awareness of the digital needs of library users. As Library and Audiovisual Support Specialist, she provides guidance, assistance and training for scanning, imaging, custom cataloguing and digital exhibit curation, manages print accessible document requests, and provides reference help. She was instrumental in the implementation of the university library’s digital image collection, and assists in the creation and publishing of researcher- and student-led collections. She actively participated in the activities of the ARTstor Institutional Advisory Group, which contributed to the creation of Shared Shelf (rebranded JSTOR Forum).
