Sara Tompson

Sara Tompson is the Manager of the Library, Archives and Records Section of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA. She has been a STEM librarian for over 20 years. Sara is the 2018 Past-President of the Southern California chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA), the Chair-Elect of the SLA Aerospace Section, and has been an SLA Fellow since 2017. She has co-authored two books and written dozens of articles. Sara is an instrument rated private pilot in the Caltech Flying Club and enjoys flying her husband and friends to beautiful destinations.
