Steven Deolus is the Technology Training Program Coordinator for the New York Public Library system. The Technology Training Program which, to the public is known as TechConnect, offers free technology education classes at 89 branches. Steven’s key responsibilities under the direction of the Associate Director is harmonizing the programs over 90+ education classes throughout the system by improving communication channels with internal staff, promotion on websites, integration of new classes and series based programs, research as needed on new innovative technology and educational program developments, and providing support for the program expansion. On several occasions he is also tasked with serving as a liaison within TechConnect for technological and educational communities. Steven brings an immersive set of tech skills ranging from computer building to tech education and coding with a background of 12 years’ experience in the tech community.  He received his B.A. from SUNY University at Buffalo in Political Science.  He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School with a focus on cyber crimes, intellectual property, and digital rights.
