Toccara D. Porter is a Louisville, Kentucky native. Previously, she worked as the Distance Education Librarian and Online Teaching & Outreach Librarian at the University of Louisville. Her work focused on using educational technologies for library instruction and outreach to students and faculty including web authoring Plone pages and designing online learning modules with SoftChalk. Toccara has three academic degrees: a Bachelor of Arts from Berea College, an M.L.I.S. from Kent State University, and in December 2015, she graduated with a second Master's degree in Educational Technology from Morehead State University. Currently, she is enrolled in a Web Applications Development certificate program at Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg, Indiana to pursue her dream of becoming a website designer.
