Health & Safety Guidelines

Information Today, Inc. looks forward to welcoming attendees back to in-person events and is committed to providing a safe and rewarding onsite experience at Computers in Libraries 2022. In response to any ongoing pandemic conditions in the U.S., our events team will be working closely with federal, state, and local guidelines, venue protocols, and other measures to help ensure everyone’s safety regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The following policies and procedures are based on current information. As the situation and available information changes, all are subject to change.

Vaccination Status

Information Today, Inc. requires that all attendees are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, and they will need to answer a question during the online registration process confirming their vaccination status. If they are not vaccinated at the time of registration, they will still be allowed to register for the event. However, they must be fully vaccinated by the date of the event to attend. Please visit the CDC site for what it means to be fully vaccinated.

Vaccination cards are recommended to confirm vaccine status but will not be required to enter the event.

Temperature checks will not be conducted at the event.

Masking

At this time, masks are recommended but not required for fully vaccinated individuals. Hyatt hotels currently requires that all hotel guests wear masks in all public spaces of the hotel regardless of vaccination status. Please note that onsite masking rules are subject to change based on the guidance and/or mandates of the CDC and/or federal, state, and local governments. For additional information, please visit:

Hand Hygiene

Hand sanitizer will be available in multiple high-touch areas of the hotel and meeting spaces. Hand washing is still important in helping reduce the spread of COVID-19. Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. We encourage that all attendees bring a personal size hand sanitizer with them and to use it frequently.

Personal Contact, Social Distancing, and Seating and Spacing

We encourage attendees to limit personal contact during the event as much as possible, and to be conscious of personal space. Seating will be spaced with the recommended distance between attendees as determined by the venue and its local government. We may limit the number of passes sold at each event, as necessary, to meet such requirements.

Venue Services & Food and Beverage

Please note that the venue may limit food service or be subject to federal and state mandates that affect their ability to provide services to guests. In addition, we will be working with the venue to optimize how food and beverage services will be provided to minimize exposure/risk. For further information about venue protocols, please note the following:

A Note from the Hyatt Regency Crystal City: The safety and wellbeing of our guests and colleagues is always a top priority. In light of COVID-19 and for precautionary measures, the following services and facilities will be impacted. For inquiries, please contact the hotel directly.
