Just a few months ago, we seemed to be on a path to return to Arlington, VA for our first in-person Computers in Libraries conference in three years. Our planners, speakers, and community were all very excited to see everyone face-to-face again. Unfortunately, it now seems there continues to be too many obstacles in our way for us to overcome. We have recently made the decision that we will not be able to host Computers in Libraries 2022 as an in-person event.
We deeply appreciate your support of Computers in Libraries and your understanding that we have made every effort to host Computers in Libraries 2022 in-person.
We are, however, excited to move forward with planning for Computers in Libraries Connect 2022. Given the successes and experiences of our previous virtual events, we believe Computers in Libraries 2022 will be our best virtual conference ever. The virtual conference will be held, as scheduled, the week of March 29 - 31. Workshops will take place on Monday, March 28.
Computers in Libraries Connect 2022 will include practical advice, inspiring thought leadership, and in-depth training. Join your peers to learn, share, and celebrate the disruptive trends shaping the future of libraries and information professionals. See where the information industry is going, and how to get there first.
Librarians have always been creative and innovative, but the last few years has pushed us to try new things, experiment with new technologies, find new community pathways and build new relationships. The 37th Computers in Libraries program, Library Tech Sandbox: Experimenting & Excelling!, will give attendees the opportunity to interact with our experienced and practical speakers; learn and gain insights and ideas from our leading-edge topics; and take home innovative plans for your library and community.
No matter what your job role, or what type of library or organization, you’ll find that all of the bases are covered at Computers in Libraries Connect 2022.
Full program, registration, and sponsorship information for the virtual event will be available shortly. Check back soon!
