Jeremy Johannesen is the Executive Director for the Chief Officers of State Library Agencies – the association serving the nation’s 53 state and territory librarians.  Prior to this role, Jeremy led the New York Library Association as its Executive Director for nearly a decade, after serving as its Deputy Director for three years.  Jeremy also led the NYS Alliance for Arts Education. Johannesen holds his BS in Arts Education from the College of Saint Rose, and is recognized as a Certified Association Executive (CAE) by the American Society of Association Executives. When not working for libraries, Jeremy is working on his 1890 home in Southern Vermont.
