Christi Showman Farrar

Christi Showman Farrar is a librarian working for EBSCO Information Services in the Schools & Public Libraries division. With over a decade of experience in libraries and education, Christi now focuses her energy on being a "librarians' librarian", developing tools and resources to make librarian and teacher jobs easier. Christi has an MA in Early Literacy and Children's Literature from the University of Arizona, and an MLIS from Simmons College. Her professional presentation topics have ranged from collection development to picture book art, social media in libraries to cupcake decorating. Most recently she has been developing workshops for teachers focusing on using digital resources to support curricula in the classroom.
