Marc Futterman
Marc is president/CEO of CIVICTechnologies providing CommunityConnect software and strategic solution services to public libraries nationally including strategic planning, community engagement, data analytics, quantitative research, service planning, marketing, and organizational development. Marc's creative approach combines a commitment to web and information technologies, market and spatial analytics, and knowledge of market forces and policy issues with strong management and communications skills. Marc has successfully led, managed, and participated in numerous multi-disciplinary projects including work with over 70 public libraries in more than 25 states. Clients include Las Vegas Clark County Library District, Denver Public Library, Pierce County Library System, Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, Nevada State Library, Archives, and Public Records, Dallas Public Library, Virginia Beach Public Library, Fairfax County Library, and Milwaukee Public Library, among many others. Marc regularly contributes to public interest organizations, national publications, and is a member of the board of directors of Resources for Infant Educaring (www.rie.org). A Los Angeles native, Marc has a Bachelor of Science (Architecture) from USC and a Master of Philosophy in Urban Design and Regional Planning from Edinburgh University, Scotland.
