Ustadza Ely

Ustadza Ely is the Library Manager for Technical Services and Technology at Yavapai College Library. She started her library career as a student assistant at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Hunt Library while pursuing a degree in Human Factors Psychology. She received her MA in Information Resources and Library Science from the University of Arizona and has spent most of her career in academic libraries. Her library video work includes the Telly award winning Thrall and Zorga in Let’s Ask A Librarian and Maria - Library Orientation, which was nominated for Best Animation by The LibVid Awards. She also contributed to the 2016 ACRL book, The Small and Rural Academic Library: Leveraging Resources and Overcoming Limitations.

 

James Rider is the Library Technology Technician at Yavapai College Library. He has been working in Libraries for 11 years and has a background in computer networking technology. His side passion is film which he has been able to apply on various Library projects including the award winning "Thrall and Zorga in Let's Ask A Librarian" and "What Are Databases and Why You Need Them", which currently has 114,130 views on YouTube.
