Picture of Caroline FuchsCaroline Fuchs is Associate Dean and Learning Design Librarian at St. John's University. In addition to an MLS, she holds an M.A. in English and an M.A. in history. A member of the St. John's University Libraries' Web and Emerging Technologies committee, she collaborates in the development library mobile apps and web related activities, as well as website design and user experience. Her research interests include the practical application of educational technology for teaching and learning, literacy in the digital age, and the use of graphic novels to teach social justice issues. She is a Senior Fellow at the Vincentian Center for Church and Society, a CTL Teaching and Technology Fellow, and a Writing across the Curriculum Fellow. She teaches graduate courses in the Division of Library and Information Science, and undergraduate courses on comics and graphic novels at the University. Active in the library community, she serves on the ACRL Board of Directors.
