Colleen has been with Frederick Community College since 2011, and was named the Director of Library Services in 2017. She been instrumental in updating library systems, expanding information literacy instruction, and designing and implementing the innovative Bess & Frank Gladhill Learning Commons, an integrated academic support space for students. Colleen has over 10 years of library experience with prior positions at Hood College, The Historical Society of Washington, DC, and the University of Maryland College Park where she also received her Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science.
