Denise Davis is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN.

Before joining ACPL, Denise served as the Deputy Library Director of Sacramento Public Library, as well as directing research at the American Library Association’s Office for Research and Statistics and the National Commission on Libraries and Information Science.

Denise has contributed to the library profession with more than 30 years with experience in academic, public and state library agencies and been active leading or serving on committees of the American Library Association (ALA), PLA's Project Outcome, and NISO. Denise currently serves as a peer reviewer for Public Library Quarterly.
