Laura Fu is the Senior Business Analyst, Digital Asset Management at Red Hat, and was formerly the DAM Practice Lead at EMMsphere. She earned her BA in video production from Hofstra University in 2002 and her Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2013. She has worked in media libraries since 2002, initially focusing on television news and video collections. In 2011 she joined the DAM team at Sears Holdings Corporation, helping to maintain digital content using corporate taxonomies and automated data enrichment workflows. She has since worked on both the client and vendor side, assisting teams with DAM selection, design, implementation, training, and customer success. As a new member of the Marketing Operations team at Red Hat, she acts as the DAM Librarian and Product Owner.
