Melissa Techman, MLS, NBCT, is a K-5 Librarian and former Instructional Technology Resource Teacher in Albemarle County Public Schools in Charlottesville, VA. She has also been a Children's Librarian at Houston Public Library. She writes occasionally for School Library Journal, Library Media Connection, and has been featured in Edutopia. Current interests include supporting young writers, speakers, artists, and student groups working to improve her school and community.
