C101: Dallas Teens in Action
10:15 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.Too often, teens are immersed in their smartphones and other screens. Our speakers are developing strategies to get them to look up and engage with their world—by learning how to interview key community members and explore the history of their neighborhoods. In doing so, they are helping teens develop important professional skills, as well as building bridges across diverse groups of people in their city. The library is a safe and trusted community hub for this learning to take place. Get a road map for your community to engage teens and teach them new skills while building stronger ties and connecting to the community.
