Billie Cotterman is the Instruction and Digital Services Librarian at Metropolitan College of New York in New York, NY. Previously she has worked as a cataloger and taught Latin, ancient history, computer literacy, and English since 2004. She obtained her MA in Classics from the University of Iowa in 2010 and in Library Science also from the University of Iowa in 2012. When not engaged in library work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and talking to strangers about Pliny the Younger and how two spaces after a period are superior to one.
