Carol Anne Germain is the Information Science, Informatics, and Sociology Librarian at the University at Albany She serves as the liaison for the Office of Access and Academic Enrichment and the Educational Opportunity Program. In this position, she manages collection development for Information Science, Informatics and Sociology, teaches information literacy sessions, and participates in reference. She is also an adjunct in the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity. Her research interests include the persistence of URLs in academic resources, Web usability, and information literacy. Carol Anne is active with several library organizations including the State University of New York Librarians Association and the New York Library Association.
