Daniel Mauchley is the Duchesne County Library System Director, overseeing two branches and a recently opened History Center for the last three years.  The system is also in a consortium with Uintah County Library to strengthen collections and services in the Uintah Basin.  He earned his MLS from Emporia State University and his Bachelor’s in Spanish Teaching from Weber State University with University and Department Honors.  He was recently elected President-Elect of the Utah Library Association 2020-2021.  He lives with his wife Emma and three young children.
