Ericka Hill

Ericka D. Hill is a teen librarian for Durham County Library (Stanford L. Warren Branch Library), where she provides resources, services and programming for teens, tweens and emerging adults. She had hosted quality STEM, arts and gamming programs that engage teens regularly. She graduated from Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, N.C., with a bachelor's degree in sociology in 2011. She then went on to earn her master's in library science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C., with a concentration in youth services.  Before working for Durham County, she was the evening librarian for Saint Augustine's University, where she taught library instruction and literacy classes to incoming freshmen. Ericka has a passion for working with youth in underserved communities, and thrives by offering support through programming, volunteering opportunities and mentoring at the library.
