Hannah Sommers is Senior Associate Dean and Deputy University Librarian at The George Washington University. In addition to promoting agile practices across the Libraries, Hannah facilitates the work of teams working on collection development, technology, resource description and research consultation. Prior to joining GW in 2015, Hannah directed product development in NPR's Research, Archives & Data Strategy group, making sure that resources were driven toward high priority initiatives and that outcomes contributed to innovation at NPR. Hannah received her MLIS from the University of Texas at Austin and has worked in legal and transportation libraries. She was recognized as a Mover & Shaker by Library Journal in 2013.
