Jennifer Fagan-Fry received her MLIS from the Catholic University of American in 2014 and has been with the NOAA Central Library since  early 2015.  As the Institutional Repository (IR) manager, Jennifer is responsible for the development of policies and procedures for the submission and inclusion of scientific publications into the database, including metadata policies and DOI assignments, as well as providing outreach and education services to all areas of NOAA about submission requirements.  In addition to her IR duties, Jennifer also works with NOAA offices and employees on Section 508 compliance and accessibility for electronic documents and web content.

Jennifer has presented at a number of conferences such as the Special Library Association annual conference (SLA 2018), Atmospheric Science Librarians International (ASLI 2018), and Maryland Library Association (MLA 2018 & 2017), as well as a number of other local presentations on topics such as the metadata management, bibliometrics and collection development, and the NOAA IR.
