Sara DeSmidt is Senior Product Analyst, Metadata Services for OCLC, where she provides feature requirements for WorldShare Record Manager, the WorldCat Metadata API, as well as other Metadata Initiatives. Sara joined the Metadata team from WMS Implementations, where she guided OCLC Member institutions through migrations from their existing ILS to the WorldShare Platform. Prior to working at OCLC, she worked at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in the E-Resources and Serials Management Department and at North Carolina State University in the Metadata and Cataloging Department.
