LLEAD Institute
Rebecca has led +100 planning and organizational design projects in organizations ranging from volunteer-run non-profits to research university libraries to global professional services firms. Her career began in the corporate information management world of the Royal Bank of Canada and Exxon, and then to co-creating DysartJones, a niche consulting practice. Passionate to deeply understand organizational processes and dynamics in all types of environments she stepped into senior leadership roles at University of Toronto and Brampton Public Library. With Dr. Ken Haycock she designed the LLEAD Institute, a unique leader development program for the library and information sector. LLEAD is now in its 8th cohort and Rebecca remains as Sous-Director. She has received two of Canada's national awards - Outstanding Service to Librarianship and the Haycock Award for Promoting Librarianship; Ontario's Public Librarian of the Year and SLA's Leadership Award.
