Jerry Marindin is originally from Washington, DC. He holds a Master of Marketing from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma (LSSGB). He is YouTube trained and certified to do weekend work on his daughter’s Toyota RAV 2015.

He joined Freedom Scientific, a Vispero Brand, in April of 2004 as the Government Territory Manager. His focus is breaking barriers using Assistive Technology for people with Low Vision or Blindness in the workplace. He has been directly involved several large library projects where the industry leading software programs, JAWS® screen reader and the ZoomText magnifier/reader were deployed.  JAWS®  and ZoomText enable library customers who are blind, low vision, or print disabled to navigate the computer.

He currently resides in Charleston, SC, with his wife, Debby. They have 2 cats- Kimchi, and Caisey.
