Bonnie is the Coordinator of Web & User Experience for the Texas A&M University Libraries and has been in her position for three years now. Prior to coming to A&M, Bonnie spent three years as a Technology Librarian for a public library in the State of Idaho. She holds an MLIS in Information Science & Technology from Simmons College and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Montana. Prior to joining library land, Bonnie worked at the National Museum of the United States Navy in Washington D.C. and in the Anthropological Collection Facility at the Univ. of Montana. Bonnie has a background in UX work and is committed to user-centered and accessible design for her work in web and discovery interfaces. She has a passion for free and open access to information and collects banned books in her spare time.
