Cheryl Peltier-Davis is a librarian, author, and digital information expert with a career spanning the Caribbean and the U.S. She has worked primarily in academic libraries, specializing in metadata management, digital initiatives and emerging technologies. An advocate for integrating technology into library services, she authored the 'Cybrarian’s Web' series, exploring how social media tools and mobile apps can be utilized in library services. Her recent research focuses on disruptive technologies, notably AI, and the implications for information services. Her contributions to the field earned her the Association of Caribbean University, Institutional and Research Libraries (ACURIL) Caribbean Information Professional of the Year award in 2019.
