Margaret coordinates and leads the use of the Alma & Primo VE systems and integrations for the University of Oregon, where she has worked since 2020. Previously, she worked for many years in public libraries, managing technology and various library departments, including circulation, technical services, and facilities. In her last position she oversaw the libraries websites and intranet, including a migration to using SharePoint as intranet from a file share server, as part of an overhaul of internal communication. In one of her first professional positions, she oversaw and managed the project to create the first coordinated and cohesive website for the City of Oakland California Public Library and its 13 branches and African-American Museum & Library. She has now lived in Eugene, Oregon for over 20 years. She likes to garden and cook, and occasionally plays with the Society for Creative Anachronism. She lives with her partner, his dog, her cat, and a varying number of chickens, plus miscellaneous of their nearly-grown kids, who come and go.
