Nookly
Rex is the Co-Founder and CEO of Nookly, an AI-powered platform revolutionizing personalized learning for children. Nookly simplifies the creation of tailored visual supports, including customized stories and visual schedules, designed to address the distinct needs of each child. With a deep commitment to supporting all learners, Rex draws from personal experiences, including his wife’s expertise as a behavior therapist and his family’s history of neurodivergence.
Before founding Nookly, Rex worked in strategy consulting for Accenture and software sales. Since launching Nookly while attending business school at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, Nookly has grown to support thousands of parents, therapists, and early childhood educators. It helps them leverage the power of AI to deliver engaging, tailored visual learning experiences to children and families. Nookly has partnered with libraries, schools, and therapy clinics across North America to bring personalized learning to their respective communities.
When not building Nookly, Rex speaks on topics like AI’s role in personalized learning and advocates for creating inclusive educational tools. Rex lives in Baltimore with his wife, a behavior therapist pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, and their dog, Maisie.
