Library Director
Loyola Blakefield
Terry Darr is Library Director at Loyola Blakefield, a private school for boys from grades 6-12 in Towson, MD. Over a period of nine years, she developed a proactive plagiarism education instructional program for middle school and high school students. This has been published in her book, Combating Plagiarism: A Hands-On Guide for Librarians, Teachers, and Students (Libraries Unlimited, 2019). A unique highlight of this book is micro-paraphrasing, a two sentence, four step approach for concise, ethical paraphrasing. Terry is a frequent book reviewer for the American Library Association.
