William has been working in Scholarly Communications for 15 years, with a short detour to the consumer internet at Quora, where he launched their creator program and AI tools. William started his career leading outreach for Mendeley, launched the Reproducibility Initiative to improve research integrity, and was a key contributor to the field of altmetrics, co-writing the NISO Article-Level Metrics Recommended Practice (NISO RP-25-2016).
