Riley Lankes (he/they) is a researcher focused on the impact of AI on information and international
politics. Currently living in Texas, his work explores how generative AI can empower misinformation and disinformation, and how policy can be crafted and implemented to combat disinformation empowered by AI. Riley holds a BA in International Studies from the University of South Carolina, and an MA in International Relations from University College Dublin.
